Users review: Sigh! I do not get to watch too many movies, and even less on the big screen. So when you watch Despicable Me (original) several times at home - and loving to death, this film was a big disappointment for me and my daughter in a movie theater. Its been hard for me to put a finger on exactly what was missing, but I think it is the lack of a dialogue smart, witty who filled the first film. There are a lot of funny moments in this film, but mostly sight gags and jokes. And unfortunately, the room was one of those moments, but not very interesting. FYI, my girls (10 and 7) have been disappointing - although my youngest asked to do it on a DVD or iPad, so you can play some parts of the liked.I really thought this sequel had a lot of potential - especially in the character of Lucy, but most of this potential is just wasted. Villain is a caricature portrait with very stereotypical and non-PC, and unlike the vector (the villain of the first film), seems to have a motive. The plot is actually hurt a little 'fear, instead of fun, and the characters seem to spend a lot of time doing things that just were not that interesting, and he said things that were not only funny.All Overall, a real collapse of our once-in-a-blue-moon at the cinema.
